PETS TRAVELLING TO BULGARIA AND EUROPE FROM THE U.K

Travelling to an EU country or Northern Ireland
When travelling to an EU country or Northern Ireland, your pet needs:
- a microchip
- a valid Rabies vaccination
- an Animal Health Certificate
- Tapeworm for dogs if you’re travelling directly to Finland, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Norway or Malta
These requirements also apply to assistance dogs.
Check the rules of the country you’re travelling to for any additional restrictions or requirements before you travel.
- You cannot use a pet passport issued in Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland).
- WHERE DO I START?
  - First, learn about the import rules and requirements you must follow for your destination country to ensure it's possible to bring your pet where you want to go, as some countries have breed and species bans or don't allow pets to arrive from certain countries.
  - From here, start to build a plan of action based on the vet visits and paperwork required, and think carefully about your options and whether or not you want to do this on your own or hire assistance.
